If wanting all programs to be free (libre) is extremism, then yes I am an extremist.

@arh how do we get there? do you think everyone dropping all proprietary software is a feasible option?
after around 20 years trying, I'm quite dishearten from a company as much as from a user point of view.

@arh All software being free sounds like a good wish.
I started thinking from "disagreeing" side: some nuclear plant might need extreme security, there may be concerns about its code being open, but "security through obscurity" feels much more like the lack of effort than anything actually secure.
